Imagination
By Genevieve

I am a boy, I am a girl. I am a spirit, this empty shell is my world.

I am a priest, I am a nun. A sister, a deacon- I believe in the Son!

I am a worker, a slave to my boss. I am not in control, and that’s my loss.

I am a father, I am a mother. I love both my sister and my brother.

I am a danger, a hazardous being. I am a girl, just daydreaming.

I am a threat, a enemy in full force. I am a boy, doing my chores.

I am a mother, a lover of one. I am a father without his son.

I am a person, just one human being. Still, I changed the world- that’s why you’re living.

I am a combination of all those who are gone. Don’t worry, my friends, I won’t be long.

I am the keeper of those who died. I am not the one who lied.

I am the soul of one who is stuck. Didn’t you know? I am one of those people who never gives up.

I am not perfect, that you know pretty well. It’s too bad I can’t just be normal for a spell.

I’m the wedge put between people. I made him leave, I made her yell.

I am you’re imagination, your childhood friend. If you lost me, I hope you’ll find me again.
If you think you do not need me, think once more.
If you can’t see me, look closer. I’m waiting by the door.
If you can’t hear me, listen harder-I’m screaming at you.
If you don’t feel me, I’m afraid there’s nothing I can do.
my mom reminded of this the other day, and once i reread it i decided i should post it. so there. uh...that's about it. and if this gets to anyone who wants to use it, (if it gets any views AT ALL) just ask my permission first, mmk?
